Tabletop Session No.6 – "53" by Schäfer (Roland Juno-60 & Space Echo RE-201)

"This Jam Session is based on a work in progress of mine: „53“. The Roland Juno-60 was run through a Roland Space Echo RE-201 tape echo. The gate signal which controls the arpeggiator’s speed came from the omnipotent Pamela’s New Workout Module. The VCF was modulated with up to four different CV Sources (Sample&Hold, LFO, positive envelope and negative „ducking“ envelope)."

"Ostblockschlampen, also known as Eastblock Bitches, are a German DJ and producer duo consisting of Sophie Schaefer and Markus Lange, which has existed and been active since 2009. Their music is a mix of Bass House, EDM, Trap and Moombahton, and their releases have reached over 20,000,000 streams.

Markus Lange has been a producer since 2003 and has released on labels such as Great Stuff Records. Sophie Schäfer has also worked as a DJ and producer since 2007.


We chatted with Markus on how he’s been using Sequential instruments in their productions."

"Hi! Wir stecken mitten in der Produktion von „Schlotterschaum“, unseres nächsten Albums mit Synthpop-Songs. Als kleinen Vorgeschmack haben wir ein Video zum Song „Es ist das Wir“ gedreht, um Euch die Wartezeit zu verkürzen! Es ist eine kleine Verbeugung vor Wolfgang Palm und seinen ikonischen Produkten wie dem PPG Wave 2, PPG Wave 2.2 und PPG Waveterm, die in unserer Musik einen zentralen Platz einnehmen. Wolfgang Palm ist dieses Jahr 70 Jahre alt geworden. Bleib gesund!
